2018 CBS Sports Classic Tickets on Sale Friday; UK Faces North Carolina in Chicago

CHICAGO – Tickets for the 2018 CBS Sports Classic, featuring college basketball powers Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State, and UCLA, will go on sale Friday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. ET. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster at 800-745-3000 or www.ticketmaster.com, or at www.cbssportsclassic.com. Tickets guarantee admission to both contests of the CBS Sports Classic.

The fifth-annual college basketball doubleheader will be held on Saturday, Dec. 22 at the United Center in Chicago. Ohio State will face UCLA at 3 p.m. ET, followed by UNC and Kentucky at approximately 5:15 p.m. ET.

All four programs have a stellar history of postseason success, with 26 NCAA Championships and 182 NCAA Tournament appearances combined. Since 2006, each team has appeared in at least two Final Fours and at least one national championship game. The quartet is also among college basketball’s all-time winningest programs, combining for more than 8,100 victories.

Kentucky, North Carolina and UCLA appear in CBS Sports’ early Top 20 rankings, with Kentucky sitting at No. 1. All four programs welcome Top 30 recruiting classes to their respective campuses for the 2018-19 season.
