It was not a good day for the Big Blue Nation as UK dropped to No. 14 Alabama 89-74 on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
Otega Oweh led Kentucky with 22 points. The 6-foot-4 senior from New Jersey also had eight rebounds. Junior Jaland Lowe added 21 points.
Alabama gunned in 15 three-point field goals, compared to just four for UK.
The Wildcats return to action on Wednesday as they host Missouri at Rupp Arena. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET and ESPN2 will televise the contest.
