Thursday Night's EKU-at-Belmont Showdown To Air On ESPNU

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University men’s basketball team’s game at Belmont on Thursday night, February 11 will air live on ESPNU, the Ohio Valley Conference announced on Sunday.

The game is scheduled to tip at 9 p.m. ET from the Curb Event Center in Nashville.

It will pit two of the OVC’s top teams against each other – Belmont (20-1, 14-0 OVC) currently sits atop the conference standings, while EKU (14-4, 8-3 OVC) is in third.

Belmont (83.4 points-per-game) and EKU (82.9 points-per-game) are also the two highest scoring squads in the OVC.

EKU freshman Wendell Green Jr. (18.4 points-per-game / 2nd) and junior Tre King (16.6 points-per-game / 4th) both rank in the top-five in the OVC in scoring during league play.

The Colonels will play at SIUE on Monday at 3 p.m. before heading to Nashville for Thursday’s nationally-televised showdown.
