“ESPN Sports Radio 1300AM/92.5FM, home to sports in Central Kentucky is now home to one of Lexington’s very own legends of sports reporting,” said Lynn Martin, President of LM Communications. “We are pleased to welcome Alan Cutler, who has a long history of presenting the very best in sports. By bringing this legend back to local radio we once again show that being a live and local voice lets us provide something truly unique to the sports audience in Lexington.”

Cutler, a native of Long Island, New York, is no stranger to radio. He began his career in 1975 broadcasting Little League Baseball and went on to host the No. 1-rated show in his time slot in three markets – Lexington, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. Cutler hosted the Cincinnati Bengals Radio Network for 14 years. He spent the majority of his career as a TV sports anchor, sports reporter and sports director at LEX18. He recently also co-authored the book, CUT TO THE CHASE.

“This will be the only sports talk show in Kentucky that has no filter,” said Cutler. “Although I enjoy watching UK win, someone needs to be very honest about what is really going on. We will provide that, with some fun commentary and special guests.”

Cutler will bring an entertaining program that all sports fans in Central Kentucky can enjoy. Cutler can be reached for interviews at Catch Cutler on ESPN Sports Radio 1300AM/92.5FM, stream online at, or download the ESPN SPORTS LEXINGTON app from the app store.

LM Communications Broadcast Media Group is Lexington’s only locally owned broadcasting group. With its headquarters in Lexington, KY, LM Communications owns radio stations in the Lexington, KY, Charleston/Huntington, WV, and Charleston, SC markets.
