Powerhouse South Carolina Women Defeat Kentucky in SEC Tournament

Playing its third game in three days, No. 17 Kentucky couldn't keep up with third-ranked South Carolina as the turnover-plagued Wildcats dropped 87-64 to the Gamecocks Friday afternoon at the SEC Women's Tournament in Greenville, S.C.
UK's record is now 23-10 for the season, while South Carolina improved its mark to 30-2.
Leading the Cats, who committed 19 turnovers, was senior Amelia Hassett who had a team-high 15 points, hitting a perfect five-of-five from the three-point line.
UK's next game will be in the NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats will wait for the NCAA Tournament Selection Show on Sunday, March 15 to find out where they will play in the Big Dance.
