Pineville's Emmie Dishman Joins KySportsStyle.com Magazine

Emmie Dishman, who will be attending the University of Kentucky as a freshman this fall, is joining the Middlesboro-based KySportsStyle.com Magazine as a staff writer.

While at UK, she will be covering UK women's basketball games at Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington as well as a couple men's games at Rupp Arena.

Dishman plans to major in Integrated Strategic Communications.

Before arriving at UK, Dishman graduated from Pineville High School with honors in May. She was actively involved in several school-related activities, including Mountain Lion Media Network, Student Technology Leadership Program (STLP), and Bell County Youth Leadership while earning internships with the County-Courier newspaper and the Bell County Chamber of Commerce.

"I'm incredibly excited and honored to be working with (magazine editor) Jamie Vaught and can't wait to help cover some UK basketball games," said Dishman.

KySportsStyle.com Magazine was established in 2014.
