PHOTO GALLERY: Middlesboro Baseball Opens Season With Two Wins

Middlesboro High School began its 2022 baseball campaign on a high note with two consecutive home victories over Clay County High School and Lynn Camp High on Thursday and Friday evening, respectively.

In the season opener for both teams, the Yellow Jackets, who were last season's 13th Region runner-up with an overall mark of 17-15, defeated Clay 4-1 on senior pitcher Tyler Harris' one hitter, complete game performance. MHS stopped Lynn Camp 18-0.

Middlesboro will host Knox Central on Monday, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
