PHOTO GALLERY: Fond Memories of UK's 2012 National Title in New Orleans

With the 2021 NCAA Final Four taking place during this Easter weekend, we thought you'd enjoy the photos of the 2012 Kentucky Wildcats when they captured the school's eighth national title in New Orleans. UK, which finished with a 38-2 mark, defeated Louisville 69-61 and Kansas 67-59 to capture the NCAA crown. Six-foot-10 Anthony Davis of Kentucky was the consensus national player of the year for the 2011-12 campaign.

Here are some of the 2012 Final Four photos taken by Jamie H. Vaught, a credentialed sports columnist who covered the Wildcats during the 2011-12 season. Even though Vaught, who had a media credential for the Final Four, didn't have a photo pass, he still managed to grab some pictures, and some of them turned out fairly well with his cheap (non-DSLR) digital camera.
