No. 25 Ole Miss Defeats No. 14 Kentucky 98-84

VIDEO: Kentucky coach Mark Pope, Amari Williams and Otega Oweh discuss their team's setback to Ole Miss Tuesday night in Oxford.

It wasn't a pretty night for slumping Kentucky, which fell behind 27 points in the early second half, as the 14th-ranked Wildcats couldn't catch up and dropped to No. 25 Ole Miss 98-84 Tuesday night at Oxford.

It was UK's fourth loss in the last five games. Kentucky is now 15-7 overall and 4-5 in SEC. Ole Miss is 17-6 and 6-4 in SEC.

Kentucky's Amari Williams posted a triple-double with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10

assists. He became the fourth Wildcat player all-time to record a triple-double

joining Isaiah Briscoe (2016), De’Aaron Fox (2016) and Chris Mills (1988).

The Wildcats return home to take on South Carolina Saturday at Rupp Arena. The 12 noon ET game will be shown on ESPN2.
