No. 12 UK Women Top No. 22 Alabama 65-56

Six-foot-5 sophomore Clara Strack notched another double-double -- 14 points and a game-high 14 rebounds -- as she sparked 12th-ranked Kentucky to a nice 65-56 win over No. 22 Alabama Thursday night before 4,471 fans at Historic Memorial Coliseum. Strack now has 10 double-double performances for the season.

The Wildcats, who improved to 18-2 overall and 7-1 SEC, also had three other players scoring in double figures. Graduate guard Georgia Amoore pumped in a team-high 16 points and had nine assists.

Alabama (17-5 overall, 4-4 SEC) was led by Sarah Ashlee Barker, who gunned in a game-high 22 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.

UK returns to action on Sunday, visiting Norman to take on No. 13 Oklahoma. The 4 p.m. ET game will be shown on the SEC Network.
