Momcilovic, Moreno Named Coaches' Preseason All-SEC
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Southeastern Conference men’s basketball coaches have recognized Kentucky’s Milan Momcilovic and Malachi Moreno as preseason All-SEC selections, as announced by the league office on Thursday.

Momcilovic lands on the second team, while Moreno was named a third-team honoree ahead of the 2026-27 season. The pair also were picked as preseason All-SEC honorees by the league media earlier this month.
Momcilovic arrives in Lexington by way of Iowa State, where he put up gaudy numbers as a junior last season. The 6-foot-9 forward led the country in both total 3-pointers made (136) and 3-point field goal percentage (48.7%) on his way to averaging a career-high 16.9 points per game.
Moreno is back for his second season at Kentucky after earning All-SEC Freshman Team honors a year ago. The native of Georgetown, Kentucky made 30 starts for the Wildcats and averaged 7.8 points per game along with a team-best 6.3 rebounds. He was an efficient 58.2% from the field while blocking 53 shots on the defensive end, leading the team in both metrics.
