Kentucky Women Overcome Scrappy Belmont 84-78

UK coach Kenny Brooks and Georgia Amoore discuss Friday night's victory over Belmont at Historic Memorial Coliseum. Five Wildcat players scored in double figures for the third time this season as Kentucky improved its mark to 10-1. Of UK's 10 wins this season, this is the first win that was fewer than a 10-point margin. Amoore, graduate guard, had a team-high 23 points, shooting 7-of-13 from long range. Amelia Hassett, a junior forward, had 16 points and 11 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. The Wildcats will play host to Western Kentucky on Saturday, Dec. 28 at Historic Memorial Coliseum. The 4 p.m. ET game will be shown on SEC Network+.
