Kentucky Women Defeat Louisville 72-62 in Top 25 Showdown

No. 20 Kentucky defeated No. 21 U of L 72-62 on Saturday at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville.

UK's Clara Strack had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Tonie Morgan added a team-high 19 points along with seven assists. Kentucky also had productive performances from Teonni Key, who had 17 points and eight rebounds, and Jordan Obi, who scored 10 points.

Overall, the Wildcats hit 52.5 percent (compared to Louisville's 39.7 percent). In addition, UK outrebounded U of L 41-27.

UK, now 7-0, returns to action on Wednesday, facing nationally-ranked Maryland in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. ET and the game can be seen on FloSports.
