Kentucky Stuns LSU 75-74 on Moreno's Game-Winning Shot

Kentucky freshman standout Malachi Moreno shot a game-winning jumper as time expired, helping the Wildcats to a 75-74 victory over LSU on Wednesday night in Baton Rouge.

With UK behind by one point with 1.8 seconds left, sophomore Collin Chandler threw the ball to the opposite free throw line where Moreno caught it, turned and hit the game-winning basket.

Kentucky was down by 18 with 19:22 minutes left in the second half.

Senior Otega Oweh led UK in the scoring column with 21 points with Denzel Aberdeen and Andrija Jelavic adding 17 and 11 points, respectively. Moreno finished with 10 points and a game-high 8 rebounds.

UK (11-6 overall, 2-2 SEC) visits Tennessee Saturday afternoon in Knoxville. ESPN will televise the 12 noon ET game.
