Kentucky Makes Another Stunning Comeback as Wildcats Overcome Tennessee

Kentucky made another comeback as the Wildcats overcame No. 24 Tennessee 80-78 Saturday afternoon in Knoxville.
In the first half, UK was behind by 17 points before it rallied to win, beating the Vols. For the entire game, Kentucky led for only 34 seconds against UT. For the third game in a row, UK overcame a deficit of at least 12 points (17 against the Vols) to win. Tennessee led 42-31 at the halftime.
Denzel Aberdeen led the Wildcats with 22 points, including 18 in the second half. Collin Chandler, Jasper Johnson and Otega Oweh each scored 12 points, while Mo Dioubate had 10.
Kentucky is now has a record of 12-6 overall and 3-2 in SEC. Tennessee is 12-6 overall, 2-3 in SEC.
Next game for the Wildcats is Wednesday night when they face Texas at Rupp Arena. The 7 p.m. ET game will be shown on SEC Network.
