Kentucky women's basketball team, which gunned in a school-record 18 three-pointers against Mississippi State Thursday night, continued its hot shooting Sunday against Vanderbilt with a 96-78 victory in Nashville.
No. 16 Wildcats, who improved their overall record to 13-1, used a balanced scoring attack with five players in double figures while pumping in 15 of 31 three-pointers. Graduate guard Georgia Amoore led the attack with 24 points, including three 3-pointers, along with a game-high nine assists. Six-foot-5 sophomore Clara Strack, who had 17 points, grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds.
UK will face Florida Thursday night in Gainesville. The 5 p.m. ET game will be shown on SEC Network.
