Green, Adeyeye & Benton to Participate in Senior Day

On Senior Day, Kentucky women will face Tennessee on Sunday, Feb. 26 in its last regular season game of the 2022-23 season. The 2 p.m. (ET) matchup at Memorial Coliseum will be televised by the SEC Network.

Three Wildcats will go through the Senior Day ceremony, including seniors Adebola Adeyeye, Robyn Benton and Blair Green.
Benton has a degree in broadcast journalism and a minor in communications. She is currently working on a master’s in business administration.
Adeyeye has a degree (from Buffalo) in social science interdisciplinary with a concentration in early childhood development. She is currently working on a health coaching graduate certificate.
Green has two degrees in both kinesiology and human communications. She is currently working on a high performance training certificate.
UK, 10-17 overall and 2-13 in SEC, is coming off a loss at Texas A&M last Thursday, 74-67, despite the Cats hitting nine shots from long range and leading the Aggies in turnovers forced, points off turnovers and bench points. Tennessee, meanwhile, has a record of 20-10, including 12-3 in SEC.
Benton is fifth in the league in points per game (16.6), while she is sixth in the league in points per game in conference action (17.1). Two Wildcats are leading the league in free throw percentage (minimum 2.5 made per game), with Benton in first on 83.0 percent (93 of 112) and Jada Walker in second on 83.0 percent (73 of 88). Walker is also second the conference in steals (64).
