LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky quarterback Cutter Boley has been named Southeastern Conference co-Freshman of the Week and junior Jalen Farmer SEC co-Offensive Lineman of the Week, the league announced Monday.

Boley is sharing his award with Mississippi State quarterback Kamario Taylor and Farmer with Ole Miss’s Jayden Williams.
Boley, from Hodgenville, Kentucky, completed 18 of 29 passes for 161 passing yards and a touchdown in the Wildcats’ 10-3 victory at Auburn. He added 24 rushing yards on non-sack plays. It was just the third win at Auburn in UK’s history and he became the first UK freshman quarterback to win an SEC road game in 16 years, since Morgan Newton at Georgia in 2009.
With the game tied at 3-3, UK took the second-half kickoff and Boley maneuvered the team 75 yards, capped by a 13-yard touchdown pass to receiver Kendrick Law that was the eventual game-winning score. Twice during the drive, on 3rd-and-11 plays, he completed passes for first downs.
Boley has completed 65 percent of his passes this season for 1,376 passing yards and 10 touchdowns this season.
Farmer, from Covington, Georgia, graded out at a team-high 81 percent in the victory. He played all 64 offensive plays and did not miss a single assignment as UK controlled the football for 31:46 time of possession against an Auburn defense that entered the game fifth nationally in rushing defense, 21st in scoring defense and 29th in total defense. He had no penalties and did not allow a sack or pressure and had seven blocks at the point of attack.
