The pairings for the 52nd District high school baseball tournament have been set. The four-team district tourney will begin on Monday evening at host Harlan High School.
Middlesboro coach John Smith's Yellow Jackets, who have captured five consecutive 52nd District tournament titles, will face Clay Carroll's Bobcats from Bell County in the district opener on Monday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. In the nightcap, the Harlan County Black Bears meet the

Harlan Green Dragons at 7:30 p.m. The winners will advance to the 52nd District championship game on Wednesday, May 18, starting at 6 p.m.
The tournament pairings were based on regular season record against district foes.
