52nd District Baseball Pairings Revealed

The pairings for the 52nd District high school baseball tournament have been set. The four-team district tourney will begin on Monday evening at host Harlan High School.

Harlan Green Dragons at 7:30 p.m. The winners will advance to the 52nd District championship game on Wednesday, May 18, starting at 6 p.m.


The tournament pairings were based on regular season record against district foes.


STANDINGS

MHS 15-10 overall, 5-1 district

HCHS 9-18 overall, 4-2 district

Harlan 13-15 overall, 3-3 district

BCHS 8-16 overall, 0-6 district


PAIRINGS

Monday, May 16 at Harlan (city)

5:30 p.m. - Middlesboro vs. Bell County

7:30 p.m. - Harlan County vs. Harlan


Wednesday, May 18 at Harlan (city)

6:00 p.m. - Championship Game


(Note: As for the girls' fast-pitch softball, the pairings for the 52nd District tournament have not been announced on KHSAA's website as of 10:00 p.m. Friday evening.)
