LEXINGTON, Ky. – Kentucky football will once again play its annual Blue-White Spring Game under the Friday night lights of Kroger Field. This year’s game is set for Friday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
Tickets to the Blue-White Spring Game will once again be free. 2017 season ticket holders and those fans who have placed a season ticket deposit for the 2018 season will have the first opportunity to secure tickets for UK’s spring game beginning Monday, Feb. 19 with the general public to follow a week later on Monday, Feb. 26. Season ticket holders will receive an email in mid-February detailing how they may obtain tickets during the pre-sale.
More information about how to obtain tickets, including ticket options for UK students, will be announced at a later time. Game-day information for fans attending the game will also be announced later.
This will mark the second straight Blue-White Spring Game to be held on a Friday night. Last year, Blue topped White, 31-14, in front of 37,172 fans.
The Blue-White Spring Game will cap spring practice for the Kentucky Wildcats, who finished 7-6 last season and reached a bowl for the second year in a row. UK will return record-setting running back Benny Snell Jr. from last season’s Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl, as well as 10 of 11 defensive starters. Included among the returners on defense are Josh Allen and Mike Edwards, who elected to bypass the NFL Draft and return for their senior season.
