LEXINGTON, Ky. – A total of 36 current and former University of Kentucky student-athletes were part of the December graduation class that was recognized Friday, Dec. 15 at Rupp Arena.
Included in the honorees were seven Wildcats – all of whom were all-conference honorees and played professionally – who returned to UK and completed degrees:
Erik Daniels (2001-04), All-SEC men’s basketball player and a member of two SEC championship teams, was in pro ball for 11 years, including one season for the NBA Sacramento Kings
Makayla Epps (2014-17), All-America/All-SEC women’s basketball player, currently playing for the WNBA Chicago Sky
Gerald Fitch (2001-04), All-SEC men’s basketball player and a member of two SEC championship teams, has played professionally for 13 years, including one season with the NBA Miami Heat
Callum Irving (2012-15), All-America/All-Conference USA men’s soccer player, has played two years professionally and currently is a member of the Ottawa Fury of the United Soccer League
Max Kuhn (2012-14), All-SEC baseball player who played professionally in the minor leagues
Ryan Wilkes (2005-08), All-SEC baseball player and member of the 2006 SEC championship team who played professionally in the minor leagues
Garry Williams (2005-08), All-SEC football player and member of three bowl champion teams, who played six years for the NFL Carolina Panthers
