Lewis Morris, the new basketball coach at Middlesboro High School, was introduced at a press conference Tuesday, June 6 at the high school. He comes to Middlesboro from Bell County High School where he served as the head coach for many years, including a 2011 trip to the state tournament at Rupp Arena. Morris is a former athletic standout at old Cumberland High School in Harlan County before moving on to play basketball and baseball at East Tennessee State and the University of Cumberlands.
