Western Kentucky University held its annual basketball tipoff festivities, "Hilltopper Hysteria," Friday night, Oct. 14, before a crowd of 4,000 at E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green. New coach Rick Stansbury, shown in a brief interview after the event, and his Hilltoppers open their 2016-17 campaign on Saturday, Nov. 12 against Alabama State at home. WKU also will host two exhibition games against Campbellsville (Tuesday, Nov. 1) and Kentucky Wesleyan (Saturday, Nov. 5).
