History will show that UK coach Mark Stoops (pictured) and his young troops kicked off the 2013 campaign on a wrong note in his first season at Kentucky, dropping to Western Kentucky 35-26 in Nashville. But they bounced back to beat Miami of Ohio at home in the following week to even UK's record to 1-1. Then Kentucky struggled and lost five consecutive matchups (Louisville, Florida, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi State) before defeating Alabama State in Lexington. In the next four games, though, UK was on the wrong side, finishing with a 2-10 worksheet. It was not a very pretty season in the Big Blue Nation.
But what about the upcoming campaign? Will the 2014 Wildcats do better? Probably, but how much improvement will they display on the field?
