The UK women’s basketball team will celebrate Thanksgiving in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The Wildcats will face Illinois, Oklahoma and South Florida in the 2014 U.S. Virgin Islands Paradise Jam Reef Division from Nov. 27-29.

The other schools participating in the 15th annual event include Clemson, Florida Gulf Coast, Ohio State and Wichita State. The games will be held at the University of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas.

UK's first game will be against Illinois on Thursday, November 27.

The Paradise Jam, held annually at the University of the Virgin Islands, has become one of the premier pre-season destination tournaments for men’s and women's basketball. It is a multiple-team event (MTE) tournament, counting only two of the three games against participants’ 29 allotted games.
