Wildcats To Host Football Fan Day on Saturday Morning

LEXINGTON, Ky. – In the midst of its first week of fall camp, Kentucky football is set to host its annual Fan Day on Saturday, August 5 starting at 9 a.m.

Fan Day will kick off with an autograph session at Nutter Field House from 9-10:15 a.m. All UK players and coaches, including head coach Mark Stoops, will be available for autographs. Following the autograph session, fans are invited to an open practice starting at 11 a.m. at the Joe Craft Football Training Facility practice fields.

In the case of inclement weather, the autograph session will go on as planned and information about the open practice will be announced Saturday morning.

Fan Day is open to the public and admission is free. Free parking will be available in the Glenn Hyundai Blue, Glenn Infiniti of Lexington Green and Glenn Nissan Red lots surrounding Kroger Field.

2017 Kentucky football schedule posters presented by Kroger will be available at Fan Day. Additionally, UK’s ticket office staff will on hand to discuss ticket packages for the 2017 season with interested fans.

The Wildcats opened fall camp on Sunday with Media Day followed by their first official practice of the 2017 season. UK is coming off a 2016 season in which the Wildcats reached a bowl for the first time since 2010 and will play an attractive home schedule this year. Florida, Tennessee, Louisville and Ole Miss will all come to Lexington.

Season tickets are available at for $310 apiece with corresponding K Fund donations attached. Fans can secure the best seat locations and year-round benefits by purchasing a season ticket package. Fans are able to use the Kentucky Football Virtual Venue to view and compare available seat locations and see a 360-degree virtual view from the seats inside Kroger Field. The Virtual Venue has been updated to reflect the installation of nearly 6,000 new bench-back seats in the upper level for the 2017 season. Payment plans are available for new purchases.

Public season-ticket packages in Sections 201-203 and 209-211 are $240 apiece. Fans can view a seating chart with the various pricing levels here. Limited quantities of the Kentucky Football Pocket Pass will also return for the 2017 season, which includes a mobile ticket to all seven home games for a discounted price of $205 while supplies last.

The Wildcats will open the 2017 season with a game at Southern Miss on Sept. 2 and make their home debut on Sept. 9 vs. Eastern Kentucky University.
